I want to change the path specified in datadir to a network drive (no replies)

Currently, I have MySQL (free version) installed on the server.

I am planning to move the data section of MySQL to a network HDD (NAS)
and use the software and data separately.

So, when I move the data using the USB scale, change the datadir in my.ini and start MySQL, it starts up fine, but when I change the datadir to the NAS, MySQL does not start.

Is there any other setting that needs to be done?

I would appreciate any advice.
