Migration from MSSQLServer: accented characters (no replies)

Hi, I am new to MySQL, and I am trying to import my data stored in MSSQLServer into MySQL 5.1, using MySQL Migration Toolkit.

First of all, MySQL Migration Toolkit wants the utf-8 character set, otherwise certain tables do not migrate correctly.
At this point it seems to work fine except for accented characters: they are all stored as boxes in my tables...

Any help will be appreciated
